Sugar Snap Peas with Carrots & Peppers

Ingredients
- 2 C Sugar Snap Peas, trimmed
- 1 Red Bell Pepper, cut into strips
- 1 Large Carrot, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 T Soy Sauce
- 1 T Toasted Sesame Oil
- 1 tsp Sesame Seeds
- Ground Black Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Place a steamer basket over a saucepan filled with 2-inches of boiling water.
- Add peas, diced bell pepper, and sliced carrot into the basket.
- Cover the basket with a lid and steam the veggies for 5-7 minutes or until they are tender.
- Stir once during steaming to ensure even cooking.
- Combine soy sauce, sesame oil, sesame seeds and pepper in a small bowl. Adjust the amount of soy sauce and oil to taste.
- Transfer the veggies to a mixing bowl and pour the prepared sauce mixture over the steamed veggies.
- Gently toss the veggies until they are evenly coated.
- Serve hot as a delicious and nutritious side dish.
